What is Think Thanks?
Think Thanks is a website that provides a daily prompt inspiring you to express either specific or general gratitude. We’ll just ask you a specific question and then you can answer it. Or, if you hate our question you can just tap into your general gratitude and see what you come up with. It’s that easy.
Why would I want to do that?
Expressing gratitude daily for even a week can improve your mood for up to 6 months. (6 months!) Imagine if we were all happier? The world would be a better place.
You really want me to do this?
Yes. So much, in fact, that if you do it every day for 100 days, we’ll give you a free t-shirt. It’ll be a cool one, too.
Who are you?
We’re a couple of friends living in the Kansas City metro area who want to improve your life by making it easy and interesting for you to express gratitude (see benefits of gratitude page).
LIZ
Liz is a mother to two girls who regularly inspire her – Gabby, who is 5, and Cora, who is 2, – and a wife to the coolest man she’s ever met, Ryan. Liz believes in many fringe-ish ideas, but her most vehemently held view is the idea that gratitude can make you happier, healthier, and more beautiful. Right after that she believes that being creative everyday is even more important than drinking eight glasses of water. Prior to her life as a mother Liz taught high school English and camped with almost no equipment in as many places as she could. Now she cooks, bird watches, gardens, reads, writes, and drinks beer with her dear friend, Chelsea.
CHELSEA
Chelsea is the mother of Zoe (5) and Juniper (2) and stepmother of Jack (10) and Josie (14), living with her husband, Travis, in the southwest ‘burbs of Kansas City. She blogs (sometimes) at mommalou.com; but you might beware if salty language offends your delicate sensibilities. In a former phase of life she slept a lot, traveled a lot, and drank a fair amount of wine. Now she neither sleeps nor travels and has traded the wine for beer.

hey, ya’ll, do we have to do your challenge each and every day or can we go back a 100 days on your blog and do it all at once?
btw, cool idea
This is tricky – but hopefully I can explain it right. You CAN just do it all at once, but you have to do all of the 100 that you do AFTER your first posted comment. So you are set since you’ve responded to a very early prompt. You just have to wait 100 days and then come back. But once we have 100 prompts up people will not be able to log on for the first time and then backfill and get a t-shirt. They’ll have to login, respond, and then wait 100 days.
Liz, just 7 days!
I think you are awesome!
